Putting together the March Issue

To everyone who subscribed and to the creators on Twitter who sent over recommendations, I want to extend a sincere thank you. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the response with only a handful of followers for ACM.

Friday - 3/4/2022 is the cutoff date for the March issue so if you have any more recommendations for creators to showcase in the online magazine, please send over a link to your campaign. I’ll reach out for permission for using the images in the magazine.

Publication of Alternative Comics Magazine is in a pdf format with links embedded. I will ensure it is available on this website and the homepage of ACM. At this point, I don’t believe a paper copy is needed but if interest is found, that idea can change. My hope is each creator will resend out the ACM link in their newsletters or social media accounts to drive further interest each month.

First issue solely focuses upon showcasing the creators ongoing or upcoming campaigns or series in production. My hope is to have a feature article in the next month’s edition and reviews for upcoming months about the comics/graphic novels created.

There’s no pay since this is just starting up, but I’ll be happy to give a byline to interested authors/reviewers. You can also review other parts of the comic/book publishing process with your take on the best methods or producers. If you are interested in doing a review or other article, please drop me a line.
