Actually, it's an old match lock pistol from the 17th century (used in the 30 years war). I need a better description as some of the inspiration come from reality of Covan's world.
Not to go too far afield, I'm guessing that they're Bakshi's WIZARDS ( I've gotta watch that again..... ) or HEAVY METAL than anything else. I've looked for HEAVY METAL.
