First, I want to thank everyone who follows/subscribes to this Substack site. What started off in 2021 as a place dedicated to exposing talented writers and artists, eventually morphed into an online magazine which never gained the traction needed to move forward after two issues.
It was an interesting experience. Unfortunately, must come to an end. Morbid Ink is closing down.
Therefore, I’m moving the entire information from this site over to my primary site (The Pulpist). You notice similarities to the current Morbid Ink with The Pulpist. It is a place for reading my speculative/strange fiction, occult mystery, and other genres, along with access to original artwork. Plus, there are other interests of mine like horror comics which are part of the site.
By consolidating the two sites into one, I’m eliminating somewhat duplicative efforts which waste time and delay work. Hopefully, The Pulpist will become a mashup for the best of both sites. New long form fiction and short stories will come to the site so if you enjoyed Morbid Ink, I invite you to take a closer look.
For those unfamiliar with my primary website, I’ve added the link below. I hope you’ll take the time to stop by and see if it’s a fit for you. I will add those incomplete stories to The Pulpist and complete them.
What does this mean for my subscibers and followers?
Obviously, I would like you to come over to The Pulpist.
That said, Morbid Ink will close permanently in about a week or so. I’ll move the entire archive into The Pulpist. Those who become a paid subscriber will have an additional benefits including the ability to download nearly all of my books (along with the Morbid Ink magazines and access to past stories from the newsletters). This is part of the standard paid subscription for The Pulpist.
As part of the shutdown, I’ll send out an email to everyone 7 days before the shutdown with a subscriber link to The Pulpist so you continue receiving the newsletters/updates. Or, you can go to the link listed above.
For those who don’t wish to continue, you’re email and information is deleted once I remove the Morbid Ink account.
Again, I thank you so much for your efforts in following this work and hope to see you on the other side (so to speak). If you have any questions, please reach out to me.
